Tickets for 2023 have SOLD OUT!!

What time and date does the event take place?

Hearts and Homes event dates for 2023 are Friday 17 and Saturday 18 November.

Event hours are 9am - 4:30pm.

Event HQ will operate between 9:30am - 2:30pm on event days.

When will I receive my tickets and event map?

Tickets and Event Maps are posted in late October, with the intention they are received by purchasers a week prior to event date.

Where and when can I collect my pre-ordered morning, lunch or grazing platter?

Event attendees can collect pre-ordered food and beverages from our Event HQ between 9:30am - 2:30pm on event days.

The Event HQ location will be detailed on the event map sent out with tickets.

Are there any house rules when Iā€™m touring the properties?

There sure are!!!

Please respect the homeowners property and privacy. Please remove your shoes when indoors at a property. No food or drink to be consumed at properties. Keep your ticket with you at all times (tickets will be marked off at each stop).

Are children allowed on the tour?

Hearts and Homes is an adults only event (16+)

Are pets allowed on the tour?

Hearts and Homes is a pet free event - Animals are not permitted on any site at any time.

Are there bathroom facilities on the tour?

Bathroom facilities will be available at our Event HQ

Will the event go ahead if its raining?

It sure will - we encourage you to pop an umbrella in the car and wear layers!!

Can I smoke?

Hearts and Homes is a smoke-free event. No smoking or vaping is permitted at any location during the event

Am I allowed to take photographs whilst on the tour?

To protect the security and privacy of our Homeowners and Event Partners, NO photography is permitted on any device (camera, mobile phone, iPad, drone), at any location on the Hearts and Homes tour (inside or out)

Are the venues accessible?

As the tour is of private homes, accessibility is limited and not wheelchair friendly. Walking distances from parking zones and in and around the homes and gardens varies (from short to lengthier strolls).

Attendees to be mindful and take care when touring inside and the grounds on properties - watching for: slip/trip hazards (roots of trees, uneven/changing ground surface, narrow stairwells), moving vehicles.

I can no longer attend the event, are my tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable

Terms and Conditions

Tickets to Hearts and Homes are non-refundable.

Cancellation of Event

In the unlikely event that Hearts and Homes is cancelled by Arohanui Hospice, due to a Force Majeure event (including change in government restrictions due to COVID-19), you may choose to donate ticket proceeds to Arohanui Hospice or to apply for a refund. In event that this takes place, communication with ticket holders will be made to advise of details.
Any refunds granted will be made to the original purchasers credit card. The refund amount will be:
Self-drive ticket cost less an administration fee of $35 (incl. GST) and less credit card processing fees.

Limitation of Liability

Attendance at Hearts and Homes is at your own risk.

Attendees accept full responsibility to inform themselves of any hazards and risks of attending Hearts and Homes sites, and rely solely on their own assessment of hazards/risks before participating.

Whilst all practical measures have been made to keep event attendees safe during the event, Event Organisers, Sponsors/Supporters, Homeowners, Employees, contractors and volunteers are not responsible for any loss of belongings, damage and/or personal injury that may occur during the Event.

Event Photography

Arohanui Hospice reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken by the official Hearts and Homes event photographer, at any Hearts and Homes event, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Arohanui Hospice may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by Arohanui Hospice to promote or profile the event including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, social media and websites.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information.
